Sometimes, "last times" are hard or sad. Saying goodbye to a loved one or friend, selling a car (Rachel...), or selling a piano (me...).
This next week will be full of "last times" for me. I am struggling to think of any that will be hard or sad. I won't mind not having a bed to myself. I will (do) love cooking for more than one. I'm even looking forward to sharing all of the money and finances (and everything else that goes with it). Dan told me a long time ago that everything is easier with two people. I realize more every day how right he is.
I am looking forward to finishing my week of "last times" and starting my life of "first times".
It makes me giggle.

I remember the days before I got married :) I'm so excited for you!!! Can't wait to see you on Wednesday!
I love it! I'm so, so, SO excited for you. I read this out loud to Dave and he said, "Good call." What a good perspective going into marriage.
I am so excited for you, Nan. Katie and Dave are right -- it is a good perspective on marriage.
things are so much easier with two!! Especially when it comes to having a family :) or eating ice cream, or watching a movie, or moving a household, or yardwork. I'm so glad you found someone like Dan to share your burden with!!!
I love this post! It is such a great reminder how fun it is to be married! I am sooo happy for you! I hope you enjoyed your week of lasts and are enjoying your weeks of firsts!
